A spiritual heritage

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov gave a spiritual teaching between 1937, the year he came to live in France, and 1985. This teaching sheds light on all areas of life. 

Starting in 1970, his lectures (about 5000, stenographed or recorded on audio and video tapes) began to be published in book form by the PROSVETA Editions

The PADME International Foundation began its activity after a four-year period of development under the guidance and spiritual authority of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov. 

It was legally created on July 15, 1986, Pour Aider au Développement et au Maintien de l’Enseignement (To Assist in the Development and Maintenance of the Teaching)

The Foundation is not concerned with making a turnover, increasing sales, or making a profit. Its sole purpose is to help share a spiritual wealth throughout the world: the teaching of Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov. 

Its content is a real treasure for humanity. Initially distributed within the framework of the associations of the Universal White Brotherhood, it must be shared even more widely. In a final message to his disciples, Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov made it clear: : «Continue to spread the Teaching throughout the world.»

The PADME Foundation qualifies as international in several ways :
▪ Its four founders were of English, Canadian, French and Swiss origin.
▪ The Swiss-based administration currently manages aid activities on 5 continents.

The administration
The Foundation Board meets regularly at the administrative headquarters to process mail and examine requests for help and grants. It contacts the managers of the Prosveta Publishing or their representatives in each country, in order to support international distribution. He also sets up contracts for translators of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov work, organizes information meetings, writes activity reports, etc. Finally, one person manages the accounting and the relations with the Swiss Confederation supervisory boy for foundations.

Each participant in the Foundation’s work is a volunteer and is responsible for all personal expenses inherent to his or her activity (travel, accommodation, etc.)

The Consultative Assembly
Once a year, the Foundation Board/Council invites to a Consultative Assembly the main persons responsible for publishing and distributing works of the Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov in their respective countries. It takes place in the different countries that agree to organize it. .
It is called “consultative” because all the participants are consulted, which makes it possible to have a global idea of the diffusion of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov’s works in the world.

Sharing themes of reflection and projects, remaining open, inventive, enthusiastic, becoming universal, these are the goals pursued by the participants of the Consultative Assembly.

This assembly also includes representatives of associations of the Universal White Brotherhood legally constituted or in development. Publishers, distributors and translators of the Master's work are also invited, as well as those interested in disseminating the Teaching, for informational purposes. Possible aid for dissemination is discussed between these representatives and the Foundation Board, during plenary sessions, or at special meetings. They then discuss the course of their current actions and their way of considering their development.

In summary, an Advisory Assembly consists of :
▪ Share testimonials,
▪ Taking stock of the aid provided,
▪ Summarizing the dissemination actions envisaged for the following year, 
▪ Promoting and coordinating aid between countries,
▪ Assessing the state of the Foundation's finances and the use of funds, 
▪ Finding new ways of spreading.

The Foundation keeps its donors informed of its activity.
